Special and various educational experiments are taking place from time to time in the field of primary education. Pragya approach is also one approach in the continuum. Pragya approach which started from Phase-1 (Standards 1-2) in June 2010 in Gujarat State has expanded to Phase-5 in June-2014.
All the children in the class can be included in the learning process. Pragya is an approach that caters to all these requirements so that their academic achievements can be individually measured. The approach to acquiring ‘Knowledge through Activity’ is the ‘Practice Approach’ which is a student-centred and activity-oriented approach.
Activities in this approach are purposeful. So, whatever the child learns, he learns only through activity, as a result of which the child feels that learning is not stressful.
