વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીની પ્રેરણાથી વર્ષ ૨૦૦૩થી ગુજરાતમાં પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે શાળા પ્રવેશપાત્ર બાળકોનું નામાંકન વધારવા માટે શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવની શરૂઆત કરાઈ હતી. જે પરંપરાને મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલ જોમ-જુસ્સાથી આગળ ધપાવી રહ્યા છે. ગુજરાતમાં શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવનો ૨૦મો તબક્કો આગામી તા.૧૨ થી ૧૪ જૂન,૨૦૨૩ દરમિયાન યોજાશે. મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલ આ ત્રિ-દિવસીય શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવનો રાજ્યવ્યાપી શુભારંભ તા. ૧૨મી જૂનના રોજ કચ્છ-ભુજના કુરન ગામ ખાતેથી કરાવશે. ત્યારબાદ તા. ૧૩-જૂનના રોજ નર્મદા-સાગબારાના જાવલી ગામ અને ૧૪-જૂનના રોજ ભાવનગર-મહુવાના કતરપર ગામના ભૂલકાઓને મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી શાળાઓમાં પ્રવેશ કરાવશે.

ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના અધ્યક્ષ શ્રી શંકરભાઈ ચૌધરી બનાસકાંઠા જિલ્લાના થરાદ ખાતે બાળકોનું શાળામાં નામાંકન કરાવીને શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવનો શુભારંભ કરાવશે. આ ઉપરાંત રાજ્ય મંત્રી મંડળના વિવિધ મંત્રીશ્રી સહિતના મહાનુભાવો પણ આ ત્રણ દિવસ દરમિયાન વિવિધ જિલ્લાઓમાં ઉપસ્થિત રહી નાના બાળકોને શાળામાં પ્રવેશ કરાવશે. મંત્રીશ્રી સહિતના મહાનુભાવો નીચે દર્શાવેલ સ્થળો ખાતે શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવ કાર્યક્રમમાં ઉપસ્થિત રહેશે.

praveshotsav 2023 : this Program such as the exchange of rural children with the children of the city, the gathering of the mothers of children in attendance in school, and the spread of public awareness on primary and secondary school cleanliness are the prominent aspects of all year\’s school admission program. For the 2 to 3 days, the \”Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav and the school admission festivals\” are held in the All rural areas and urban areas in June. In which the Chief Minister of the state, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers of Ministers, officials and dignitaries from other fields go to village-village and enter the school in vande-Gajat.
 In the academic session for admission beginning in June, District Primary Education Officer Breed All the children of Tribe, Bachchanch, others and all Divyag students will be given admission in all over India different schools in Std-1. Under the poverty line (BPL) families of the below poverty line (BPL) families and 50 percent of the rural population, rural children are given Vidyalaxmi bonds.

In the first two days, the students of the district are given Kumkum Tilak by admission in Std. 1 in admission and in Std. 9. On this occasion, village leaders and guardians are also present.
 In view of the current situation of the global epidemic of Covid-19 (Corona virus) from the letter referred to the Department of Education on the above subject, it has been decided to postpone the Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav and School Admission Ceremony for the current academic year 2021-2, a copy of which is attached herewith.  In view of which 100% admission in Std. 1 is ensured by the schools, it is asked to give instructions to take necessary action.
